I want to write a gadget that keeps certain information
about username
so when the user signs in i google home page i can know what
the user
name is and get the information about the user.
so my question is
i) how do i get username from google homepage
i b) if above is possible then is there a possiblyto of
having
"single sign on", i want the user to come to my
site but they will be
turned off if they have to remember another usr/pwd, is it
possible
that some one logs on to google page and can come to my site
via the
gadget and i know the username.
ii) what is a effecient way of storing user specific
information, i can
use a ftp location to store information in xml or database
table
containing columns like username,user information. But does
google
provide some space and efficient method to access this
information ?
