Hi, sorry if I am asking obvious questions but I'm still
trying to get
my head around how this all works.
I submitted a gadget about two weeks ago. I submitted it as
a
syndicated gadget - my understanding is that this means it
can be put
on other people's web pages, but not on their Google
homepage, is that
correct?
I've tried searching for my gadget in the 'Gadgets for your
Webpage'
directory but nothing comes up. I'm wondering how does
Google know
what keywords to list my gadget under? Was I supposed to
specify some
keywords somewhere in the code? I've tried searching on
words that are
in the title and the description, but I still can't find it.
I'm
wondering how it is ever going to get popular enough to
appear in the
directory if it can't even be found by a direct search.
I've also updated my xml file since I submitted the gadget,
but now I'm
wondering if I need to resubmit it?
Again, sorry for all the questions, I just spent a long time
getting my
gadget just right and I'm disappointed that it seems to have
fallen
into a black hole and disappeared. Any help would be much
appreciated!
