remove a module from the directory

just wondering how I would remove a module from the
directory.  I
upgraded the module to a new version, but don't want to
just delete the
old feed because I do have a lot of users.  Is there a form
somewhere
I'm missing?

Redirects should work fine but if your old hosting service
doesn't
support redirects, feel free to email us with the old and
new URLs.
Keep posting the old URL and we will contact you via
author_email when
the new URL is functional.

with which
one?

If you are able to do it, I would like to disable
http://www.networkadvanced.co
m/google_modules/customizeModules/customizeModules.xml
and, if possible, switch it to
http://www.networkadvanced.com/
google_modules/collapseModules/collapseModules.xml
.  I submitted the new one, but don't see it in the
directory.  Thanks

Hi Ralph

I've tried a 301 redirect and whilst that may work with
changing the
directory entry for the homepage it comes up as
"content not available"
for the old url entry rather than redirecting and using the
new url.
Also when a 301 is in place if you try to add the old URL it
says "feed
not found" and won't add it.

I'd assume the redirect should change people's current
modules to use
the new URL and an "Add" with the old URL to add
to the new URL. (To
pickup up out dated directory entries)

Would this be a correct assumption of how it should work?

Looking at my server logs the 301 redirect seemed to make
the
feedfetcher bot angry (very large number of requests), and
dropped my 3
modules out of the directory on a search for thier names and
now only
brings up http://ww
w.googlemodules.com/rss/latest.xml and some other
directory and blog entries.

I 301ed http://www.libation-unlimited.com/champagneoftheday.aspx
 to
http://www.libation-unlimited.com/champagneoftheday.xml

The three searches by name:

http://www.google.com/ig/directory?num
=24&q=%22champagne+of+the+day%22
http://www.google.com/ig/direc
tory?num=24&q=%22champagne+capsule+of+the+day%22
http://www.google.com/ig/director
y?num=24&q=%22champagne+cork+of+the+day%22

I was hoping would bring up

http://www.libation-unlimited.com/champagneoftheday.xml
http://www.libation-unlimited.com/champagnecapsule
oftheday.xml
http://www.libation-unlimited.com/champagnecorkofthed
ay.xml

respectively, but now only bring up other entries that refer
to them.

Should I send a move request and resubmit to the directory?
