Firefox has become incredibly slow and i'm trying to figure
out if
that has to do with Google Notebook which I have and has a
LOT of
notebooks on it.

Is it possible to use Notebook in the full page version
without
installing the extension in Firefox?

Yes.  Don't install the extension and goto google.com/notebook.
