I received a response from Google Support on this issue.
They say
there is currently no way to list recently discovered URLs.
They
recommended identifying a recently added URL in Crawl
Diagnostics by
the Crawl History. This is near impossible in our case since
we one
directory with more than 480K entries. We cannot even export
it since
it it too large.
