DJM, We do a lot of work with flash tracking and GA and have
seen similar
problems before. In your case I suspect two things are at
play: 1) Your
redirect is not a 302 or 301 http status code but rather a
meta redirect or
something similar that is stripping the referral information
from the request
header at the entrance landing page. - Fri, Jun 30 2006 3:11

Marc: I don't believe item lines are required, but without
them you won't have
any product reports if you don't have items recorded. Do
you have ecommerce
reports enabled? When you refer to "tracking
conversion" are you talking about
the ecommerce data or a tracking goal? -Caleb [link] - Fri,

Are you talking about sponsored search listings or natural
search listings? If
a user comes in via search and then comes back later via
direct request or
bookmark their return visit should still be attributed to
the initial entrance
from a search engine. Check out this excellent post by

Sana, Sounds like you've found a bug of some sort. I'd
take this right to
Google Analytics support or your AdWords rep (if you have
one) as fast as
possible. Best, -Caleb [link] - Fri, Jun 30 2006 3:22 pm
