I can't view data on my reports - 1 new
---------------------------------------
Hi, I registered to the Google Analytics service yestrday
(more then 24 hours
ago), and I have a Blog in Blogger. So I got my code and put
it in the
template of the blog. In the dashboard of the Analytics
service its says that
the data is being gatherd, but nothing is happening even
though I know I have
visitors on my Blog. - Tues, Jul 17 2007 1:46 pm

Day of week missing on the new reporting system's graphs - 1

Is it just me or are the new reports unusable without the
day of the week (Mon,
Tue, etc) on the graphs? I have emailed the Analytics team
twice about it
with no response. I still use the old reports exclusively,
but with the turn-
off date coming tomorrow I am left with no options. - Tues,

Hi Nikki. If you just want to know how many people went to a
page, you don't
need to put anything in the value of that box. Leave it at
zero. it is there
for people to assign a dollar value to a goal. (For example,
if a lead is
worth $30 to you.) It is too late at night for me to do
match types. That it
is not - Tues, Jul 17 2007 7:56 pm

Google Analytics is under reporting by 4 times - 1 new
------------------------------------------------------
It is not reasonable to compare log file analytics to
javascript tagging
analytics GA, like all javascript solutions, tracks *no*
automated traffic, no
matter how friendly. Furthermore, they (tagging vs log
files) are very
different tracking methodologies, given the way that proxies
distort traffic
with log files. Comparing them is a waste of time, even if -

tracking myself - 1 new

hi. thanks for your help Robbin, Chuck, & girlshchandra.
I ended up figuring
it out through the google analytics website...what you need
to do is set up a
filter excluding your ip address from the counter...very
easy to do, just find
your ip address using any number of online tools, and then
type it in the
filter option. - Wed, Jul 18 2007 6:52 am

I have installed the Google analytics script in my pages and
that is working
fine. I am not using the urchin tracker so the code in the

What is the
problem? How do I get rid of the error, or, how do I fix
this? Many thanks to
whoever helps me with this. - Wed, Jul 18 2007 7:39 am
