GA numbers are *dramatically* lower than Urchin 5 - 2 new
---------------------------------------------------------
Hello, all. I'm new to the forum, so forgive me if this has
already been
covered. I poked around a little, but didn't find much.
Basically, I have a
client who's been using Urchin 5 to track their Web
statistics for some time,
but recently installed the Google Analytics tracking code on
all of their
pages in the hopes of - Mon, Sep 17 2007 9:53 am

Viewing Reports After Logging In - 3 new
----------------------------------------
When I log in, as usual, and use the link to view my
reports, the log- in
window comes up instead as if I wasn't logged in. This issue
has just started
since using the Vista OS. Could that be the reason for the
issue? - Mon, Sep

In PHP you can use {} to enclose your variables so quotes
don't matter. ie.
echo '<a href="download.php?id=${DL[$ft ]}"

Referring site does not exist! - 1 new
--------------------------------------
If a user comes from a referring website, and then visits
every day by typing
in your site directly, the "Source" report will
still indicate the original
source (the non-existant website), not "direct"
Because "direct" does not
overwrite "Referrer" - Mon, Sep 17 2007 12:38 pm

Site Overlay/parameter re-ordering issues - 1 new
-------------------------------------------------
Cheers BigD. Well, It appears that they have fixed the issue
BUT only for data
recorded since 16th September. Old data is still in the
alphabetical parameter
order. I am going to get back on to them to see what happens
and I will let
you know. - Tues, Sep 18 2007 2:06 am

Tagging links brakes in Gmail - 1 new
-------------------------------------
Partly IŽve found the problem. It is the tracking links! The
links was not GA
tracking ULR but the newsletterscript generated links like
"... links.php?id=
nnn...". When I removed this function and had ordinary
html-link to .htm-file,
the links started to work in Gmail. IŽll now try with GA
tracking URL and see
if that works. - Tues, Sep 18 2007 3:07 am

Site Overlay is not working - 1 new
-----------------------------------
2 weeks ago the Site Overlay function stopped working
altogether. More
specifically when I click on the Site Overlay tool another
browser pops up,
like usual, but says in the top left corner "Bad
Request". Prior to this it
asks me to verify a security certificate. I think it is a
security certificate.

move analytics to a different google account - 1 new
----------------------------------------------------
Hi Rare Earth, Unfortunately, Google doesn't allow you to
"move" profiles
between accounts. Your clients (A, B, C, D, and E) will lose
their historical
data in the previous profiles and will just have to start
over now that you
have separate accounts set up for them. The best you could
do would be to
export reports for your clients from - Tues, Sep 18 2007
