Google helpers778- about Blogger and Google account

Hi there and thanks in advance for the group.

So I saw all this stuff about Blogger changing the logins to Google accounts. I've read the "what's new" part, I've read about the higher level of security involved and all. Some suggestions I'd have about Blogger are even on their way of being implemented, as I've learned. And I'm all for unification of services, logins and the whole controlled interaction between services.

But I'm still having a hard time to understand how can I permanently change my Blogger login to match my Gmail (this one, here), or even if it's possible and being done right now.

I mean, I can log in as gmail.com" target="_blank">rseabragmail.com  Blogger Beta, but obviously Blogger Beta can't and won't recognize me as the same "other" user from Blogger (regular flavor), where I keep two blogs. There's no data connection between them, or is there? The way I see it now, when you login as gmail" target="_blank">somethinggmail, there probably should be a "claim your Blogger account - attach it to this Gmail account - make them the same - whatever in that direction", with fields for your Blogger login and password. And then those two accounts would be permanently attached. I just don't want to login twice (Google and then Blogger), if it comes to be the case. ;Currently, I can't see any of that and it seems it's not at all like all that, so I think I'm missing something, or a lot

I'm not sure where I can check for an eventual answer to this message, so, if it's not the case already, PLEASE forward it to this email account. I'd really appreciate it and be able to use the reply.

Again, thanks for your time!
(sorry if this goes out more than once. Gmail keeps ;'Oops'ing me)
