Google helpers1068- equalization of pics

Hello, None of us have blogged before and were really
looking forward
to it. The blog is now in draft stage - but there's a major
problem.
We think we've posted some quite atmospheric pics, only to
find them
ruined because every pic on this site is equalized.

Half of our group would now prefer to delete, and forget the
whole
idea, rather than publish a blog this bad. The whole
adventure's been
turned into a nightmare by equalization.

Is it possible NOT to equalize our pics please?

Not seeing what you have or what you are trying to do, I can
only try to
do something to simulate your problem.

The picture upload (Picassa) in Blogger offers 3 sized and 3
locations.
Frames do not work well in Blogger, but can be used
somewhat. I uploaded
3 different same size images and placed them in 3 different
locations in
the 3 different sizes (small, medium and larger), with do
difficulty.

I have created a smaller layout in FrontPage 2003, with
sized pictures
as "placers" and with some fiddling have put
uploaded pictures inside
the frames where the placers were located.

If you are trying to do many sizes on the blog, then you may
have a
problem. It may be better to use the blog as a springboard
(link) to a
website page that has all of your pictures and graphics
gloriously placed.

Just my thoughts.

Henry, Thanks for this, but it doesn't answer the essential
question.
Is it possible to exempt our pics from auto-equalization?
If we take a
pic of a shadowy room, we don't expect it to look like
bright sunshine
throughout. At present, it's 2 to 2 on deletion altogether
- and I'm
about to go over to the 'delete' vote. I'd do anything
rather than
publish this trash.
