Help needed with personalised google home page

Hi everyone, I've just registered with your group and hope
I'm in the
right place to ask for help.

I personalised my google home page and it was working fine
for a while
but now when I sign in it won't keep me signed in. 
Everytime I close
the browser and open a new browser window I have to sign in
again.  I
have 'ticked' the box that says 'remember me on this
computer' but it
won't.  It is so annoying to have to sign in again
everytime I open a
new browser window.  Does anyone know why this is happening
and what I
can do to fix it?
