basically, i need to create a Search Engine with the Google
API using
Java codings and connecting to a database. I need it to
extract
research papers as well, which will show up when i type a
certain word
into the search-textbox-.
I need the codings for this help asap.
I have all the neccessary programmes required for this
proble. i so far

have created a "search engine" but when i type
something and click on
search, nothing shows up. So if this could be helped with
some research

papers to link it up to??

Its really urgent!!!
just like a matter of life or death.
thank-you

are there any usage restrictions for the usage of google
spellchechking
via tools like 'googiespell' [1]? i searched the api
docs/faqs but
didn't find any specific information on this topic
(especially since
one doesn't seem to need an API-key right now to query the
spellchecking routine).

GoogieSpell doesn't use the Google Search API, it uses the
service that
Google set up for spellchecking done by their Toolbar
utility.

It's basically the same thing as scraping the data from
google.com

http://weblogs.asp.net/pwelter34/archive/2005/07/

I would imagine that Google isn't very much in favor of
this approach.
While it technically works, I doubt that it's a Good Idea.

> Are the two using slightly different sources for
searching?

Yes, I'd say it's safe to assume that the two servers have
different
data.

> Is there a way to obtain the browser results from the
api query?

Nope.

Send an email to api-supportgoogle.com.

Don't get your hopes up, though. I'm not certain that
anyone at Google
even reads those emails (or this newsgroup, for that
matter). And I'm
pretty sure they aren't handing out commercial licenses
these days.

I can't find the thread, but I'm pretty certain that some
people in
this group recently discovered that this was a problem when
searching
for any term that results in more than x results (where x
was something
close to two million, I think). So very popular terms, like
'news' or
'business' will probably display this behavior.

I'm pretty certain that the Google API can't be used for
that.

Is google planning on releasing api for
www.google.com/bookmarks ?

Also is there a way to make a set of bookmarks public?
