The official google.* newsgroup hierarchy has been broken
for about a 
month now. The official Google web newsgroups are meant to
be accessed 
with a web browser using Google Groups, but you should still
be able post 
messages to the official Google web newsgroups by
cross-posting your 
message using a Usenet newsreader to a normal public
newsgroup that is 
propagated to other newsservers:
