Ralcgm is extremely old (1990!) and is no longer supported
by anyone.
Its license seems to prevent anyone from becoming the new
maintainer.
Someone built a working Windows binary but unfortunately it
has a
bizzarre limitation that file paths can not be longer than
something
like 32 characters. This includes both the file name and
the
directory path part. So the binary is not very usable. I
have a
binary which works great on my Sun workstation so I know
that ralgcm
is capable of working quite well if it is built correctly.
I have spent considerable time trying to get ralcgm to build
under a
modern Windows compiler but the result did not quite work
correctly.
Probably there is a data type wrong somewhere. We need a
volunteer to
continue this work and figure out how to build a working
binary
without the bizzare argument length limitation, and
preferably without
other strange command line validity checks in the code.
