Okay... Now what have I done.
I'm currently running 6.3a (long story there) on a hr10-250.
I ran 'netconfig' and set my IP to 192.168.1.8
I can ping 192.168.1.8 and that works!
But I can't telnet, ftp or http to 192.168.1.8
Now, I should mention, in a recent re-build of the machine I
moved my
hacks from /var/hacks to /hacks to survive the /var
re-builds.
All of my hacks are working (30 second skip, endpadplus,
etc.)
When I 'ps' I see 'tnlited' and 'tivoftpd.mips' running.
And when I
start twp (with 'tivoweb console &') I see it start all
the way down
to 'accepting connection'. No errors, no warnings.
Everything looks
great.
When I try to telnet or ftp, it just times out. When I try
to use my
web browser to access 192.168.1.8, it also times out.
I am able to direct connect via my serial cable, but I don't
see
anything wrong.
Does anyone know what this is?
Thanks in advance!!!
