Hi,
I've been trying to rebuild the rarvcode as indicated in the quickstart:
https://rarvcode.helixcommunity.org/2002/devdocs/quickstart
Some of the errors look like errors in the build setup (noname directory, missing umakes). I used the settings suggested in the guide:
SYSTEMID is linux-2.2-libc6-gcc32-i586 branch: helix_restricted profile: helix-client-local-net-ra-rv target(s): splay
The build reports:
Build complete in 20:42, 6 of 112 modules failed.
Errors in the build.out are: ERROR: UNIXCompile(datatype-restricted/rm/audio/codec/ra8lbr/fltpt/encoder) ERROR: Umakefil not found. ... plghand2.cpp:1432: error: ‘ReadPrefUINT32’ was not declared in this scope plghand2.cpp:1437: error: ‘WritePrefUINT32’ was not declared in this scope ... make: *** [dbg/obj/plghand2.o] Error
1 Time used: 1.08 seconds ERROR: UNIXCompile(client/common/container) ERROR: Make failed. ... ERROR: UNIXCompile(datatype-restricted/h264/codec/decoder) ERROR: Umakefil not found. ... make[1]: *** No rule to make target `../../client/common/container/dbg/contclntlib.a', needed by `dbg/hxnetwksvc.so'. Stop. make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/jaya/helix/rarvcode/client/netwksvc' make: *** [copy] Error 2 Time used: 0.10 seconds ERROR: UNIXCompile(client/netwksvc) ERROR: Make failed. ... ERROR: UNIXCompile(name_only) ERROR: Umakefil not found.
Also, attempting to build with cayenne 150 restricted gives a single error in the build.out stating:
ERROR: rm/audio/codec/ra8lbr/encoder failed to check-out from the CVS repository. This is source code licensed under the RealAudio/RealVideo Technology Porting License. If your CVS connection is working, it is likely you are not licensed to access this
component. See https://www.helixcommunity.org/content/licenses for information on licensing this component. Without a proper license, you can still build components requiring this module by using .bif file in unrestricted common/build module or customizing this .bif file to use a binary distribution of this module (datatype_dist/rm/audio/codec/ra8lbr).
I had thought I had access to this source?
The build setting I used was:
branch: hxclient_1_5_0_cayenne_restricted platform: linux-2.2-libc6-gcc32-i586 profile: helix-client-all-defines target(s): splay
Thanks, Jay
