I've just noticed that the nightly builds of RealPlayer for
PowerPC are
missing. Not only that, but the source tarball no longer
contains the
binary libraries with the codecs.
There's a version of RealPlayer 10.0.5 available on the
download page,
but there _were_ newer versions than that -- I have a 10.0.6
build 1253
binary lying around in my home directory, for example.
What happened? Were there actually problems building on
PowerPC? Fedora
currently ships HelixPlayer 1.0.7 on PowerPC, and 1.0.8
builds
flawlessly too (and seems unable to play anything I ask it
to, but I
think that's normal even on i386).
How can we get the PowerPC libraries back into the
RealPlayer "source"
tarball, and PowerPC back into the nightly builds?
