Need to reach Northward! - Dept of Agriculture has seized control of 100+ dogs from a local "rescue"  -  They need transport ASAP!

Hello all,

Please forward to any outside of Georgia rescue contacts you may have.

(GA. too, if you trust them, and if it doesn't cut into the local Atlanta rescue market).

The Dept of Agriculture has seized control of 100+ dogs from a local "rescue". They need transport ASAP. They are allowing the rescue to keep the dogs on a day to day basis, but it has been made clear to me that the dogs must go and the group will be closed down.

I evaluated the dogs and they are all healthy. Dr. Michael Goode with Homeless Pets has vaccinated them all, and says they are ready to go.

They are mostly medium sized dogs, some are large but they are not huge black lab mixes, just medium black lab mixes. There are also some golden retriever mixes and some smaller cute dogs. The smaller ones are still around 30 pounds. I would say about 1/2 are 40-60. They are very sweet.

We have transport available. A tractor trailor has been donated. If someone can help tranfer them to Northern rescues where the bigger lab dogs are much desired, we'll get them there.
