Fellow Cat Rescuers and Cat Lovers,
The past couple of weeks have been very slow for cat adoptions and rescues. Please help these cats if you
can. And please scroll down to read the sad story of the 18 yr old cat dumped
at the shelter.

*Black smoke/white, short hair with some Siamese in her. She has the
most beautiful coat; black with a white undercoat. She has white on her
face, chin and chest and long white whiskers and white feet. She is
gorgeous!

cuddled. Great cat for a lucky family. She was great all day even in the heat of over 100º

*This guy is so affectionate and friendly even out at the mobile adoptions in
hot weather. A great family cat; very mellow, zen boy

"Peggy" is a beautiful blue/gray shorthair with soft fur, a round
face and an angel's kiss of white on the inside of her elbow. She is beyond
loving and affectionate. If she had it her way, she would be sitting on your
lap or cuddling up to you 24/7! She was dumped at the shelter by her former
owner's children when she was hospitalized.
Her recent vet report found her to be extraordinarily healthy
- even her kidneys and thyroid are completely normal.
She has some real quality time ahead of her!The only sign that age has
caught up with her is the loss of her hearing. Because she is deaf, she feels
vulnerable around other cats and becomes startled when she suddenly catches
them in her peripheral vision. She
is currently staying at a kind foster's home with three other cats in a small space and is unfortunately spending the majority
of time under the bed.
Is there a compassionate person that would open up their heart and home to
Peggy? She will be appreciative beyond belief and will love you like no other.

Bad news... #A809785 b/w boy was euthed at EV.
If you can help these cats (or another shelter cat) please call the shelter and ask to speak with
";Kennels" and ask for a "Interested Party"; which is a 24
hour "HOLD." This should hold the cat until the next day and give
you time to get to the shelter. If you need help with bail/transport, please
contact us and we will try to help you. Due to overcrowding, all are at risk...please act quickly.

who has done this, comes HIGHLY recommended by more

4 YO DEPRESSED & ABANDONED PURE ROTTIE NEEDS A NEW HOME!!!
Molly is a HEALTHY, LOVING, LOYAL, 4 yr young looking Pure Female Rottweiler who is spayed and up to date with
shots. She knows basic commands and is very well behaved with her humans and
she loves children. She walks very
nicely on leash and would be great for a family who has time for her. She was
abandoned at an upstate kennel along
with her brother and they found a home together, but Molly did not get along with the cat and was jealous
of the smaller dog there, so she was
returned and now poor Molly is very lonely and depressed at the kennel. Please
give this loyal and loving girl a
home soon!
