haven't
had anyone offer to take him yet. Have only had one person from the humane
society contact me, and all he
wanted to do was prosecute the owner, but couldn't take the dog in.

Are
you a hound rescue? I have a neighbor that is going to shoot his dog if I
cannot find someone to help him. He is a blue tick/something else hound dog. 6
months ago, he(the beagle,not the owner(too bad)) had some sort of accident
that left his penis cut in half all the way from tip to behind his testicles. The
wound is now healed that way (wide
open) and the poor thing sprays like a cat when he pees. I was not living here
when all this happened to him. He is
also covered in ticks, I pull them
off all the time, but it's a losing
battle.
Anyways,
since the dog is no good for breeding now, the neighbor says he will take him
out and shoot him. (This guy breeds his dogs, he thinks if he has two different
types of purebred dogs, it's still purebred puppies) I cannot take this dog in,
I already have two. Do you know of
any hound rescues? By the way, I am in southern Virginia.
