I need to create a 
standalone application that will download using Java Web Start to 500 clients. 
This application requires a database and I was thinking of using HSQLDB. My 
questions are?


 



1.- Has anybody had 
any experience with HSQLDB and Java Web Start?



2.- Can I downloaded 
and use it to create a file database?


3.- What happens 
when I want to deploy a new version of HSQLDB. Will it automatically and without 
ANY user interaction upgrade the existing files?
