httrack hangs

Darn! Can you try to enable the verbose debugging ? (-Z)
This should show a little more information.

And, if you have some debugging skills, you can try to
compile httrack with

./configure CFLAGS="-g3 -O0" && make
&& make install

and run httrack using gdb
gdb httrack
 set args www.yoursite.com <more options..>

But, humm, if you are not familiar with gdb, forget it.
