I am mirroring a site, www.pspb.org/e21. In the site are
.mov files. I am using WinHTTrack GUI (version 3.40-2
(+swf)). After mirroring, my mirror always shows the *.mov
files as *.qt files. The file extension has been renamed.
1. I have set my Scan Rules to include +*.mov +*.mpg +*.mpeg
+*.avi +*.asf +*.mp3 +*.mp2 +*.rm +*.wav +*.vob +*.qt +*.vid
+*.ac3 +*.wma +*.wmv.
2. I have tried two settings for Mime types based upon the
manual instructions, "You can rename files on a mirror.
If you KNOW that all "dat" files are in fact
"zip" files renamed into "dat", you can
tell httrack: File type: dat MIME identity:
application/x-zip
So, I tried this...
A. File Type -> mov and Mime Identity ->
application/x-mov
and this...
B. File Type -> qt and Mime Identity ->
application/x-mov
Neither one worked. I still see .mov files on the original
site renamed to .qt on my mirror.
I know there is a command line option to rename files by
useing the --assume dat=application/x-zip option.
But, I do not know where or how to enter this command line
option in the WinHTTrack GUI interface.
Any help appreciated.
