use of httrack binaries under linux

Linux binaries, compiled for the same platform (intel-32,
amd-64..) maybe - but ensure that the dependencies (the C
library, especially) fit together.

The best way is to try, and see if it works. But I suspect
that your ISP won't allow you to execute files either..
