ear medications

Can anyone suggest a good medication such as ear drops to put into
the ear to loosen ear wax and also prevent infection? As I'm sure
everyone on these lists knows, wax and infections are often an
ongoing problem for people wearing aids. Don't have a really good
aid dispenser around here, so wondering what folks might suggest
that I could get from a drugstore or maybe online.
