I used helix-client-audio-all-fxpt but other than that I
tried what you
suggest. I'll try again with all-defines and see if that
improves
things. I'll also try a HEAD build.

It was just a file ripped via WMP10 so I doubt there's an
event stream,
although not entirely sure what an event stream is. Is that
related to
'intellistreams' - ie the asf header has a choice of more
than 1 stream
which the client hase to select the most appropriate one for
it's
connection speed ? Can you confirm if intellistream is
supported on
either HEAD or cayenne_1_5_0.
