Re: Build splay for ARM processor with SYSTEM_ID=ads12-arm

Hi,
I'd like to know which version of the code will be the best
for cross-compiling for arm-9 board (with armv5t_le
toolchain running montavista ver 3. linux kernel 2.6.10.)   
       and              also to symbian9.3 series 60 v3.
running on the same arm 9 board.
Building the DNA client for the linux desktop running Fedora
Core4 was simple with the cayenne 1.5.0 version.

1.Is it possible to have the same code running for both
2.Is it possible to download the code for different branches
of helix-dna-client ( for different platforms) from a
connection to cvs.helixcommunity through linux fedora core.

(that is to say,is it possible to download branch
hxclient_2_1_0_cayennes by setting SYSTEM_ID as
linux-2.2-libc6-gcc32-i586?)

3.  can hxclient_2_1_0_cayennes be built for linux-armv5t_le
??? if so how? which file to change?
4.  What are the differences between the branches in
functionality and features?

I have ARM development tool installed on windows XP, and
tried to build
a ARM code to run on the tools with the following settings
:
SYSTEM_ID=ads12-arm
target: splay
profile: helix-client-all-defines
branch: hxclient_1_5_0_cayenne

The "build.py"  execution complete without errors
but seems not doing
many things. The makefile is very short. I couldn't see a
executable
file being produced.

If the SYSTEM_ID=win32-i386-vc7, I can see a
"splay.exe" was produced in
the debug directory

I wonder if can I do that to build splay in ARM code? Or
anything wrong
for the build?
