A couple additional pieces of info here:
1) the -k switch is presently not working as advertised. It
will still try to check
out distribution modules, for example.
2) source packages posted to helix community have had
post-processing. This whole
process is recently determined to be buggy. It is possible
that some packages will
build without network access; meanwhile, other packages
won't build at all. We are in
the process of cleaning these procedures up.
