Please let me know if this is possible. I have tried this with Real Player on desktop and it works fine
-- I load a local SDP file (C:\My.sdp) in the Real Player on Desktop and have it play the RTP packets sent to it. I have one Server which is sending the RTP packets to this machine on the ports as specified in the SDP file.
I want to achive the same in Symbian Helix client...so want to know if Symbian Helix client supports loading of SDP file locally e.g from its C drive.
I tried it with the Real Player on N95...but it does not work. So want to know if it will work with the Symbian Helix client.
This is my setup
1. My setup is Wifi and N95. N95 has been given a Static IP
2. i have put a SDP file on the N95 ...on C:. The SDP file has UDP ports for Audio and Video
This is what i want to do
1. Load this SDP file into the Symbian Helix client
2. I have a RTP server to which i can specify...to send RTP packet to the IP and ports.
So once the Symbian Helix client loads the SDP file and starts listen for RTP packets on the ports specified in the SDP file.....I will have my RTP server send RTP packets to the Helix client on the same ports as specified in the SDP file.
