Hello,
I'm having trouble playing media with the
hxclient_3_1_0_atlas version
of splay. System particulars as follows:
SYSTEM_ID=linux-2.2-libc6-gcc32-i586
builds: release or debug
Profile: helix-client-all-defines
BIF-branches: hxclient_3_1_0_atlas or hxdbus_3_1_0_atlas
targets: all_clients, dbus_server_with_video, and several
others
Source either from cvs or from the nightly build zipfile on
the
community website.
This is the result:
/tmp/helix/all_clients-hxclient_3_1_0_atlas-20080117/debug&g
t; ./splay -l $(pwd)
/tmp/HelixContentSuite/rm/NatureRF_rv9-cbr_30fps_352x288_100
k_cook23.rm
Simpleplayer is looking for the client core at
/tmp/helix/all_clients-hxclient_3_1_0_atlas-20080117/debug/h
xmedpltfm.so
opening
file:///tmp/HelixContentSuite/rm/NatureRF_rv9-cbr_30fps_352x
288_100k_cook23.rm on player 0
Report(3, -2147467259,
"file:///tmp/HelixContentSuite/rm/NatureRF_rv9-cbr_30fp
s_352x288_100k_cook23.rm", 0, "(NULL)",
"HXR_FAIL")
Every combination of linux distro and media file (eg
everything in the
HelixContentSuite) I've attempted to play results in the
same
"HXR_FAIL" error.
Interestingly, If I replace hxmedplyeng.so with the
hxclient_1_5_0_cayenne version of the same file, the media
plays just
fine. However I'm concerned that the dbus interface (which
I also
need) won't work correctly with this mix of 3.1 and 1.5.
I'd really appreciate any assistance in tracking this issue
down, as
I've run out of ideas.
Regards,
Calvin
