    I have two files with different types of values for 
"Content Rating". I can send the files if required.

 




 


1st


 Source of clip not known. 


"Content Rating" = T(PICS-1.1 "http://www.classify.org/safesurf" 
labels comment "" ratings (SS~~000 1))9. 


DataType = CString.


 


2nd. 


It is created by Helix Mobile Producer. 



"Content Rating" = 2. 



DataType = Integer.


 


 




CRealMediaFileFormat::CopyHeader() is creating both the 
values in the file header. It is not clear what type should be used for the 
parsing? Assmuing integer values for "Content Rating" maps to 3GPP asset 
information, we would only use the Integer datatype value and ignore the 
CString values.


 


Please let me know if you have any better 
suggestions.

The document describes standard Helix properties.

      
This means, that these properties are produced by various file 
      formats/protocols in this consistent format so they can be uniformly 
      used.

      
Thus, this is not specific to RealMedia, but it covers 
      RealMedia.


      
The format for properties you asked about below has been adopted from 
      3GPP Asset Information spec. ; I think it was added by Darrin Mann if 
      memory serves.


      
See datatypeincludemetainfokeys.h  and 
      datatypemp4fileformat  for how it is used.


      
Please feel free to update the HDR-SOD-Mediaheaders.doc with your 
      findings (send CR please).
