Hello Ashish,
I want to ask you about something that happens in the
beginning of the
video playback.
In the beginning of the playback I can observe that the
frames freeze for
a small period of time, and then continue being displayed
normally.
Observing the logs (attached) I saw two different reasons
for this to happen.
- For mpeg4 playback (AAC and AMR-NB), video and audio
starts playing
about the same time, but after a few audio buffers are
decoded, they stop
being decoded and the samples played keep the same value for
some time.
However the video continue being displayed and the
clocksource
continue increasing. then audio continues being decoded, and
the
clocksource synchronize with samples played, but because the
frames video
continued being displayed following the clocksource, and the
clocksource
value is now smaller (sync to samples played that kept
without
modification
for some time), the video frames waits to the audio to reach
the video time.
-For h263 playback (AAC and AMR-NB), Audio starts later, and
when starting
synchronize clocksource having the same effect that in mpeg4
(new frames
are not
displayed because now the clocksource value is smaller).
Have you seen this behavior before? Do you have an idea of
what can be the
reason for this behaviour in audio?
Thanks and Regards
Edgar
