I have now tried nightly build 11/22/07 (Realplayer
10.1.0.3740) and I feel that
I have now tried "everything" to make my
audio-file playback (still "unsupported
document type").

I actually feel that I'm missing something basic. Here's my
file:
http://www.f-d
.no/aactest/rogaland.aac

Can someone test playback and give feedback? I can confirm
that it plays in other
program with support for (he-)aac latm/loas.

I will try to come up with some confirmed streams.

LOAS in aacff.so.

Yes (also) according to ref:

Well I don't know if it's popular yet, but here in Europe
the Digital Video
Brodcasting companies are converting to h264 encoding. So it
will be widely used
her...

...and flash would be an exellent choice for playing the
streams, but they did
not (yet) add support for the soundformat.

If this is from the hxclient_1_5_0_cayenne branch, I don't
get h264/avc.

Thanks for the URL.

I think chances are that the clip isn't encoded correctly,
or Helix
doesn't have support for the container file format -- I
couldn't get
dtdrive to recognize it, but it could be that I'm not
experienced enough
with the tool.

Others could tell you more.

mplayer couldn't parse the file successfully too.
