RealPlayer 10.x doesn't support IPv6, the next RealPlayer release will have IPv6 support.

Hi Gordon,

It's not clear what player version you are using, but it probably
does not support IPv6. So the client would try to resolve the hostname
because it does not recognize "[2001:db8:100:f101::2]" as an IPv4
address.

In order to use ramgen with IPv6 browsers and IPv4 players, you need
to set the ramgen hostname in your server config to either a hostname
that can be resolved by the client as IPv4 if it does not support IPv6,
or set it to an IPv4 address to ensure backwards compatibility.
