| RealPlayer 10.x doesn't support IPv6, the next RealPlayer
release will have IPv6 support.

I have RealPlayer (win32) Version 10.5 helix
Powered Build: 6.0.12.1698
I thought real player 10 supported

support IPv6. So the client would try to resolve the hostname because it
does not recognize "[2001:db8:100:f101::2]" as an IPv4 address.
In
order to use ramgen with IPv6 browsers and IPv4 players, you need to set
the ramgen hostname in your server config to either a hostname that can
be resolved by the client as IPv4 if it does not support IPv6, or set it
to an IPv4 address to ensure backwards
compatibility.
