For live streams, in the scenario where there is an active
buffer of cached content and the
connection to the streaming server is lost (due to a
disconnect forced by the server), the buffer is
lost.

Consider the use-case where an user is viewing a live-feed,
pauses playback and leaves the computer.
While the user is away, there is a disconnect forced by the
server and the user comes back expecting
cached content but failing to find any.

Per DEV, the player treats a disconnect as a STOP command
and hence or otherwise, effectively kills
the buffer.

This hasn't been called out in the spec but i believe the
buffer shouldn't be lost when the server
disconnects the player. The active buffer should be
available till the user hits the STOP button or
exits the player.
