Uninstalling the RealPlayer RPM leaves behind an empty RealPlayer directo

The issue here is observed when uninstalling the RPM is done
with sudo privileges. Uninstalling as
root resulted in expected behavior and the symlink is
removed as expected. Special handling is
needed for sudo uninstall.
