The error described here is exactly what I experienced on an
ibook G4 running Mac OS X Version
10.4.6.. When asked to play a SMIL-file Safari 2.0.3 and
Firefox 1.5.0.4 report a general error
(unexpected) followed by mem://file:///.... The stand-alone
player can play the SMIL-file without
any difficulities. I enclose the SMIL-file below. Are there
any ideas around how the bug can be
resolved? Please contact me under esther.bergfernuni-hagen.de.
