The buttons have changed from the oblong, shiny silver buttons found on previous S series notbooks to a flush, brushed alluminum, similar to the Apple Titanum series notebooks. Responsiveness is adequate for standard mouse use. I use an Iogear Bluetooth mouse mainly because I am heavy handed and I press too hard on my fingertip causing pain at the DIP joint of my index finger. took in new ideas like a streamlined feathered computer.

It's got killer industrial design, the perfect screen hinge used on the Powerbooks, is legacy port free and, for me, has exactly the right looks and features. Face it, I'm a design snob and I like Sony products.

like the other gulls; he really tried, screeching and fighting with theI've never used one of the new shiny-style LCDs so I was new to the experience. I like it - reflections are easy to ignore and even provide you with a sense of peripheral "what's that going on behind me?" vision that's useful in the office. If you have to know anything about the screen, know this: never EVER touch the screen. The greasy finger marks are amazingly visible and take some real elbow grease to get out. Invest in a box of anti-static screen wipes and a microfiber cleaning cloth, you will thank me.
