Linux Driver position

Linux Driver/OS Developer  
This is an excellent opportunity to join AZAD’s team of professionals and be responsible for  Linux device driver and operating systems development. The AZAD consultant must possess U-Boot experience, as well as, the ability to bring-up Linux on new hardware (i.e. LSP experience).

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience with Linux performance issues, as well as, strong knowledge of Linux profiling and analysis tools.
- Knowledgeable about Linux 2.4 and 2.6 and the differences between the versions.
- Experience with Flash file systems and Embedded Linux.
- History of real-time embedded development.
- Proven Linux device driver experience.
- Thorough understanding of protocol issues associated with bi-directional transmission of both data and events. This understanding should include control state machine and associated abort/resync operations.
- Strong understanding of C, C++ and multi-threaded embedded systems development.
- Working knowledge of ClearCase a definite plus.
- Must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills and multi-tasking abilities.
