Software Engineer

- Strong Driver development expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Windows DDK, Windows WDK, WDF, Linux driver development etc.

- Knowledge of Mobile platforms and notebook technologies like:
ACPI, Power Management, Thermal Management etc.

Daily Responsibilities:
Driver S/w debugging & development
Working with remote field engineers & validation engineers in Santa Clara and Oregon to identify and address customer bug-sightings.
Diagnostic & Debug application S/w development

travel required: 5-10% to Santa Clara

Years of Experience Desired:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or EE >3 yrs
Master of Science in Comp uter Science or EE >2 yrs
Prefer 3+ yrs of Windows Driver experience

Expertise Level (Jr/Mid/Sr):Senior

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
C/C++, Microsoft Visual Studio, IA Assembler
Windows*2000/XP Device Driver incl. WDM
Device/Driver & Platform Power Management (ACPI)
Good customer interaction and support skills

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
System BIOS development/debug
Graphics Device Driver Experience
