I created an Excel spreadsheet for my client that logs into a webpage and
extracts information. The spreadsheet saves itself in Sharepoint as a
file with the date. My problem is:
One user clicks on the link, and the spreadsheet is opened within the
webpage. Another user clicks on the link, and it opens Excel. There has
to be a setting somewhere that I am missing.
Any ideas?

Thank you for any advice.
Tim

I'm guessing that it's the View that the user has set.

If the user is in the document view, it will open in the web page. If the user is in explorer view, it opens excel and the file.

It's a Sharepoint thing...
