I *think* I had a similar problem way back when I installed
VB.NET 2003.
If memory serves correctly, I only had 1GB of memory installed, and even though it said that the program would run in a 1GB sandbox, it needed 2GB to install. Make sure your memory is sufficient and check out your page file size.
I could be mistaken...it's been a while since that version was installed (five years, four employers, and three states ago...) and the synapses aren't as young as they used to be! ;)

Hi VB Help,
When I try to load the MSDN part of my VBNET 2003 program
It accepts the first two MSDN CDs then on the third MSDN CD my computer
shuts down I get a message such as " A problem has been detected and
windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer in then
states Bad_Pool_Caller or Page_Fault_ sometimes my computer just locks
up. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
