Folks,

As you may already be aware, most securityfocus.com maillists
have
moved to a policy of only subscribed members can post to the

maillist. Up to now, that has not been the policy for the
honeypots
maillist. But after talking to several moderators and the

securityfocus folks, I'll be moving this maillist to the
same
policy. This will most likely happen sometime next week.
When it
does, I'll post to the list.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Thanks!

lance

I'm not sure about anyone else, but I use tagged email
aliases that
forward to a real account. Unfortunately, my mail client
doesn't
permit me to alter the sending address. This has largely
resulted in
the securityfocus lists being an interesting read, but not
able to
participate in the discussions.

Looking at your message's headers shows:

Mime-version: 1.0 (Apple Message framework v752.3)
X-mailer: Apple Mail (2.752.3)

30 seconds of Googling for '"apple mail" change
sender address' found this:

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.sys.mac.apps/b
rowse_thread/thread/613a7a4e706c3dd1/76a3cfd9d98fc88a%2376a3

where 2 people suggest solutions for that exact problem.

Also:

han.tron.name/articles/2006/11/05/multiple-identities-in-one
-account-with-apple-mail-app
which contains screen shots and everything.
