Fwd: Wired Lan segment Use hostapd!

hi,All


          I want to use the hostapd on a wired interface,but
it seems
like the NIC is always in the authorized state in the way it
does not
discard the frames that the supplicant sends when not
authenticated yet.
          somebody said  using pae module could fix it,but I
found the
latest version pae
hasn't been updated for a long time.
          Can pae module work based on  kernel 2.6.17 or
higher version?
          Would you please tell me how to fix the problem?
          Could anyone give me some ideas or simple
handbooks?
