Is there someone familiar with programming Hummingbird in the Visual Basic.NET IDE?  I managed to link to the Hummingbird objects in it and wrote a short program that I can run from Hummingbird.  But I’ve a couple questions.

 

I use Hummingbird at work, and do not have a copy of it at home. ; If I get the Hummingbird object on my home PC, can I write programs at home in Hummingbird?

 

My other question is if I write a Hummingbird program using Visual Basic.NET, what happens if I attempt to compile it to an executable?  Will someone have to have Hummingbird on their PC to run it?

 

I am just learning Visual Basic.NET.  It’ll be awhile before I get to the point where I can answer these questions for myself.  I’m just trying to avoid a long and fruitless attempt to do something that cannot be done. ;

 

Any advice would be appreciated.
