Anyone running on Intel Xserve, Mac OS X Server 10.4.9? What
version
are you running, and how did the compile go? Anything anyone
would
like to share?

No one nibbled... We're going to try it anyway...
Configure is complaining that we don't have libstdc++
installed, but
since we have gcc3.3 & gcc4, shouldn't that be
included?

I installed on an os x (non server) ages ago. Not sure if
it would
help but I can send you my notes/install log. As I recall,
I had to
find a bunch of random libraries but in the end compile was
fine.

Sure, Tim, that would be great. Thanks.

I have never tried an Xserve install, but I have built
ht://Dig on
other OS X machines many times. For PowerPC based machines,
nothing
special was required other than the standard developer
tools. For
Intel based machines there are some issues with the config
script
that need to be hacked around if you are trying to build
3.1.6. This
shouldn't be an issue for 3.2.x.

You might want to try the advice mentioned in the following
FAQ.
