Highlighting matched words on the page when browsed

Hi;

I know there are config attributes that highlight matched
words in the
results summary text for matches, but can HTDig highlight
searched terms
within the page once a person clicks the link from the
results? You can
see what I'm looking for in a Google search where you choose
"view as
html" on something that's a another format.

Thanks!

In general no. This requires that you either:

*put custom javascript in each indexed page to highlight
words
  - Also requires modifying the outgoing links in the search
results
to pass a paramater

*or create a pass-through page/frame.

I have written something similar to both.. let me see what I
can find
and send you.
