News and Planet on main page

Hey guys,

It seems that due to slashdot, digg, etc. articles we should
possibly put up some links on Wiki that people don't know
about and should be on main page.  2 of them being News and
Planet, I didn't even know Planet existed until Alex told me
about it on IRC.  So the news are at http://hula-project.org/
News and planet is on http://planet.hula-pro
ject.org  

Basically I think these should be put in the area where
Screenshoot Tour link is.  I'm not sure exactly in what
order and what not and that's why I'm putting it out here. 
Also we need some icons for this.  Current page uses Tango
Icons so we should probably continue with this.  For planet
it's pretty easy we could have this:

which seems quite appropriate, but for news it's a bit
problematic.  Here are some that I've found in Tango icon

icon for news, but Tango doesn't have it, but if somebody
knows how to make one or finds one that goes well with Tango
theme that would be perfect for news.

the news section is something that I tried to start today.
Communication to the world is everything, I agree with you.
Maybe it's the chance that people notice Hula
and take part in the development.

In there lies a small problem.  We need somebody who has
access to CSS files since there is no way to edit them via
wiki, at least I don't know of a way that will do it.

So we need somebody to create nav-news and nav-planet in
.sidenav in main.css. And also upload correct icons from
Tango to /images

Yap, that's the one problems. We also need somebody
who has the right to edit the main page. But maybe
we should make the news more detailed.
It was just a first try, because I haven't got a enough
time today.

We need a page to coordinate the community effort, getting
the ideas
together.
A resume of the brainstorm from the last 2 days. Something
like my
email, but maybe deeper ... What does everybody think?

About access ... or someone from Novell can do this for us
... or we are
in a bit trouble...

For comunicating maybe a forum of some kind (I like SMF). I
know it would be
something for the future (talked about it on IRC)  but for
discussions? Having a
sort of online archive which can be group owned and
readable?  Or maybe another
collaborating software?

First sort things out with novell is realy the first thing
to do.
