accents on screen

Hello,

I've installed a patched ipe source distribution together
with TeXLive 2007 in 
my Mandriva Linux machine.

I can not see any accents (text or math) on my screen
although I get them in 
the saved .pdf file.

Any help?

Hello again,

The accents don't show either when I save the file as a .png
file.

Furthermore, when in ipe I save a file as an .eps file and
then I try to open 
it with another application I only get an empty shot. If I
reopen the .eps 
file with ipe itself I can do it, but when processing it
(ctrl-L) I get this 
error

!pdfTeX error: pdflatex: fflush() failed
==> Fatal error ...

Any help?

Please file a bug report.  However, TeXLive 2007 (or more
precisely, 
pdtex 1.40) is not yet supported by Ipe.  The available
patches do not 
really seem to work.  This will have to wait until I have
time to 
install it myself and figure out what they have changed.
