Changing the position and size of page numbers

Hi,
I like the feature of activating the automatic page
numbering in a PDF
document via the option "Number pages" in the
"Document properties".
However the resulting page numbers are quite small and
always on the
very left bottom corner. Does anybody know if there exists a
way to
influence the position and size of the page numbers?

No, right now these are hard-coded.  The plan is to make
size and 
position configurable by the style sheet (like frame and
title position 
and size), but this still needs to be implemented.
